Sharing Cowlairs is an arts, ecology and community project focused around creative responses to, and regeneration of Cowlairs Park, a large area of ‘vacant & derelict’ land in Possilpark, North Glasgow. The land is mostly owned by Glasgow City Council. The council has long-term plans for a new housing development in Cowlairs. Sharing Cowlairs began in 2021 at the invitation of St Teresa’s Primary school and Parent Council. The project is facilitated by artists in close collaboration with a steering group of local residents, volunteers, partner organisations.

Cowlairs - A changing place
Cowlairs is rewilding itself. There are lots of self-seeded trees, wild flowers, deer, bats, bird life and insects. It is a biodiverse green place with little light and sound.
