People behind Sharing Cowlairs

Sharing Cowlairs is facilitated by artists Margaret Kerr and Saffy Setohy. It happens in close collaboration with a Steering Group of local residents (Gemma Coyle, Ashley Green, Brian Land, JP Mciver, Rod Sanchez, Hazel Short).

 

Supporting partner organisations include:

Canal Youth Forum, Chinese Recreation Centre, Concrete Garden, Glasgow City Council, Green Action Trust, Hawthorn Housing, Lambhill Stables, National Theatre of Scotland with Fuel, Possilpark Parish Church, Possilpark Library, St Matthews Centre, St Teresa’s Primary School, Young People’s Futures.

The project has been funded through the Glasgow Life Artists in Communities programme, Creative Scotland, Green Economy Fund, UCI Cycling Championships.

About Margaret and Saffy

Margaret is a visual artist, she is doing postgraduate study at the Art School in Dundee. She also works as a psychotherapist and outdoor educator. Her work focuses on strengthening our connections with each other and the rest of nature.

Saffy is an artist and facilitator from a dance background. Her practice explores connections between ecology, regeneration, place, and activism. She works with sensory practices and collaboration as tools for helping us to connect with ourselves, each other and the rest of nature.
